The Grain Store

The Grain Store is a brand new pottery studio which sits alongside our founding site, The Old Workshop, nestled in the Kent countryside and surrounded by orchards. Since opening in May it has become home to a range of new classes including:

• Decoration & Glazing

• Throwing for Beginners

• Hand Building

• Slip Casting

• Sculpture

This new space will also enable us to expand our evening class schedule, offer more classes for children and increase our range of one-off workshops. Please subscribe to our newsletter to be kept informed as further classes and courses become available.

Short Courses

We will be running four short courses in our new studio, The Grain Store, this September 2022. These will each consist of four three-hour classes delivered over a four week period, with a choice of morning or afternoon sessions. These courses include:

Slip Casting Classes

We are also excited to announce a new regular class, Slip Casting, run by David Richardson on Fridays. The course will run for 7 weeks during our Autumn Term! This is the first ever slip casting course held at The Ceramic Studio and we have brand new equipment ready for use. Sessions will run every Friday from 16th September - 28th October 2022 with both morning and afternoon sessions available.
