Treat your loved one to a creative Clay Date, crafting beautiful, handmade pottery together.

Our Clay Date evening is a fun introduction to working with clay.  Starting at 7pm and finishing at 9pm, this two hour session will give you the opportunity to learn a range of hand-building techniques where you will get to make a few items including mugs/vases and a sculptural platter.

What to Expect

In this two-hour session, you'll explore handbuilding techniques to create beautiful, organic forms. You’ll also explore ways to personalise your work by adding texture and glazes.

The day costs £87.50 per person and includes all of the clay, materials and tools, as well as a welcome drink and a delicious grazing board to share. Glazing and firing charges are also included in the price.

We suggest that you arrive approximately 5 minutes before the session is due to begin, so you can meet the tutors and put your bags/coats away.  Everything will be provided for you, so you can relax and concentrate on enjoying your session.

What’s Included

  • All materials, tools, and aprons.

  • A welcome glass of Prosecco/wine/sparkling soft drink.

  • A grazing board to share (please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking).

  • All firing and glazing. You will be notified as to when your items will be ready for collection (approximately 3-4 weeks after the session).

Important Notes

  • The ticket price is per person. Please book two tickets if attending with a partner/friend.

  • Wear old clothes and keep nails trimmed, as pottery can get messy!

  • There is an automatic gate on arrival. You need to drive right up to the gate for it to open automatically.

  • Free parking available.

  • Before you book your session, please make sure that you read our one off events cancellation policy on our terms and conditions page here.
